Well-being & Permaculture

Health, Well-being & Permaculture are integrated in the festival through many different areas and practices, similar to their interconnectivity in daily life. Let us walk you through all of the activities under this alluring canopy:

The Meditation Station

Relax, breathe and unwind at the Meditation Station through a variety of activities and sessions, including yoga, reflexology, tai chi, meditation, qigong, breath-work and massage.

Explore your nature, your patterns and your core self, become aware of your breathing, body and mind, return to free, natural and ancient healing ways. Starting from 6:30am until 6pm, there is something for everyone at any time!

Some of these are appointment based, so be ready to write your name down and secure your slot with the amazing practitioners.

Permaculture

What is permaculture and why have I never heard of it before?

For those unaware of what permaculture means, you may have unknowingly practiced it too! Permaculture can be understood as the growth of agricultural ecosystems in a self-sufficient and sustainable way – this could be growing your own food or foraging for example. But that’s not all! Permaculture also considers how humans can listen and learn from nature’s behaviour… from reducing your eco-footprint to success in personal growth and relationships.

During the weekend we have series of different permaculture workshops, talks and walks, such as learning how to use wild plants as kitchen ingredients, make your own remedies and even how to salvage and repurpose pallets as planters.
